If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you. Please ensure that you always provide us with an up-to-date contact telephone number.
- Please call the practice after 2pm for test results.
- Results for blood and urine tests are usually available 2-3 days after the test has been carried out.
- Results for other tests and investigations, including x-rays, can often take a longer time to return (usually 1-2 weeks)
- Please note that any test requested by a hospital clinician, either from a ward or a clinic, is returned to that person and not to the GP practice. You should contact the department you attended for any test results.
